Bringing Innovation to Tech World

An Empowering Beginning
From her humble beginnings as a participant in the Dxjango Girls workshop during her final year of high school, Miki Ramaroson has flourished into an inspirational figure, motivating and empowering others to pursue their passions in the IT field.

Kickstart of IT Career
In 2021, she emerged as the winner of the regional Webcup session in the Indian Ocean with her team composed of her family (sister and brother-in-law) just after her beloved father passed away. This victory shows she’s making a mark on her own in the IT industry no matter what happens.

Resilient Dedication
Miki has navigated the challenges of alternating work and study as a software engineer for three years. This shows her commitment to ongoing growth and development in the ever-changing field of technology. Despite the obstacles she has faced, such as being in the shadow of her older sister in the IT industry, age biases, disability, shyness, she has always overcome obstacles thanks to the support of her entourage.

Major Contribution
Furthermore, Miki’s involvement as a Women TechMakers Ambassador, member of the core teams of the GDSC ESTI and member of GDG Antananarivo have helped her to be actively involved in organizing events that nurture the growth of the malagasy tech community such as the hackathon part of Devfest Antananarivo 2022 and ZahaGeek inaugural edition in the beginning of this year or the event to promote Women in tech in the University of ESTI for the 8 March day, and being in all front for the Devfest Antananarivo 2023 from organizer, to MC, to speaker, to a member of the hackathon’s judges. And this year half the speakers were women, unlike last year when there was only one, showcasing a great elevation in women empowerment.

Additional Services
She also organized various workshops to foster collaboration, learning, and innovation such as the Machine Learning Workshop with Teachable Machine for the Computer Science Education Week 2023.

Additional Activities
She also speaks to numerous events such as the Women Rock In Digital 2022, Google I/O Extended 2023 or the 75 years of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights organized by the United Nations to share about her own experiences or about things more technical that she is passionate about like Artificial Intelligence and its ethics.

Fearless Leadership
All those activities are not easy to manage: it takes much of her time and it comes with many fears and then tiredness but she considers it always worth it.

Significant Impact
With her remarkable achievements, passion for knowledge-sharing, and commitment to community building, Miki continues to make a significant impact on the world of technology. Her journey is an inspiration for aspiring technologists, reminding us that determination and perseverance can lead to anything.
